Lindon Martin, 81, of Searcy, passed away April 15, 2017 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born July 10, 1935 at West Point to the late Arvil and Dema Mae Hurn Martin.
     He loved hunting and fishing, and being out doors. 
      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
     He married Carolyn Swindle Martin February 26, 1966 at Chicago, Illinois; she survives.  He is also survived by one son, Timothy Martin (Samantha) of Searcy and one daughter, Mary Christine Martin of Judsonia; nine grandchildren, Scott Martin, Brittany Watson, T’Keyha Martin, Terel Crutcher, Tenea Crutcher, Timothy Martin, Katheryn Martin, Taran Martin and Gabriel Martin; nine great grand children; one brother, Woodrow Martin; four sisters, Notria Cane, Helen Sloan, Wanda DeJesus, and Mary Rixie; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
     Cremation has been chosen and no services have been planned at this time.
